Message from Val Wojnicki-Director
Welcome to St. Mary’s Little Lambs’ Preschool. My career in education began in 1972 and I have been teaching children ever since. When I retired from Washingtonville Public Schools in 2012, I was blessed to be asked by Fr. Maurer to become Little Lambs’ director. The education of children has always been the fabric of my professional life, and I was excited to begin a new chapter in that life.
Coming on board with a Master’s Degree in Education and one in Religious Studies, I felt confident to take on the challenge. I have the most amazing staff and to me, well, they are family. I have never looked back and every day has been a gift. What better way to begin each day than with smiles, laughter and hugs from the children. I know that these years will always live in my heart.
